Recently four new papers were submitted to International Journal of Marine Science. Two of them are from Egypt and two from India. For all the recent papers in IJMS, say the articles submitted this year, more than 85% of them are from developing countries. It seems that the journal has great reputation in these countries. IJMS should try its best to make the sources of articles more worldwide and diverse.

Samar Saad Seoud, the corresponding author of one of the papers, said that the research is the result of 4 years of hard work. Here we’d like to express gratitude to her for her trust in our journal. Hope we can attract more and more authors to submit their professional works here.
