Generally, the price of fish during the west
monsoon season in Pengambengan is expectedly
higher than the price of fish during the east
monsoon season. This price is determined mainly by
the intimate connection between the fishermen and
buyers (fish processing plants) as influenced by
supply and demand. The price differences of the
main fish catch in Pengambengan is listed in Table 3,
and the average monthly prices of fish for a
five-year period can be seen in Figure 6.
