The Atlas of Caspian Sea Hydromorphology
Caspian and adjacent to the south Caspian. In the eastern part of this
region there are Absheron islands and coastal ridges, among them
Pirallahi and Zhiloy islands are the biggest. The eastern coast of
middle Caspian has more bluffs in its coastline. In this region,
Kazakhstan and kenderli bays, and Peschani, Rakushchni and Sue
Capes constitute the coastline. The largest eastern coast is the coast of
Garaboghazkol bay. In south of Absheron coast, there are Baku
Archipelagos including Bulla, Los, Duvani, Svinoy, Vule, etc. The
formation of these islands and some of the mesas (Livanov, Zhdanov,
