The Atlas of Caspian Sea Hydromorphology
great database was produced and the present Atlas is the outcome of
analysis and processing of the data. It is crystal clear that without
using the climatology documents, it would be impossible to create a
whole picture of the temporal and spatial variability of Caspian Sea
climatology parameters. Before the dissolution of the Soviet Union
(before 1991), the access to the database of climatology organizations
was free of charge, and the data which were provided freely in those
