Nurse-led counseling, whether one-on-one or in group form, can effectively alleviate anxiety, depression and concerns about recurrence, while enhancing patients' sense of hope and self-esteem (Aljabri, 2024; Jiang et al., 2024). Intervention methods such as narrative nursing, gratitude practice, and cognitive behavioral approach can help patients understand and confront their own experiences, adapt to changes in appearance, and enhance psychological resilience (Xie et al., 2024; Huang et al., 2024). Peer support carried out through group activities or digital platforms such as wechat provides patients with opportunities to exchange experiences, express feelings and encourage each other (Wu et al., 2020).
