Gulf coast except in autumn, although the values were
above 5.0 mg / L (Figure 8).
The isolines of higher values of COD are detected in
spring, mainly in areas where there are the greatest
influences of river runoff and anthropogenic wastes.
On the other hand, lower values are registered in
autumn and are located in the southern region of the
gulf, where the adjacent waters allow a constant
renovation of them (Figure 9).
