要
玉米根虫
(corn rootworm, CRW)
是美洲，欧洲等地区玉米作物的主要害虫，近年来也蔓延到了中国境内。由于该
害虫对玉米和其他作物的危害越来越大且传播速度快，近年来引起了人们越来越多的重视。本文对造成农作物伤害的三种主
要玉米根虫的形态、生物特性以及最新的防治措施进行综述，为下一步研究玉米根虫的综合治理奠定基础。

Abstract
Corn rootworms are the major pest of corn in America, Europe and other regions. In recent years, the corn rootworms
also spread to China and other Asian countries. Since corn rootworms damaged corn and other crops seriously and spread fast, the
management of corn rootworm has attracted more and more attention. In this paper, the morphology, biological characteristics and
control measures of three corn rootworms are summarized to lay the foundation for further study of the biological control of corn
rootworms.

，是美洲，欧洲等地区玉米作
物的一种主要害虫。幼虫以玉米根作为主要食物来
源，对初生根，根毛甚至是支柱根
(
暴露的支撑根
)
产生严重破坏，同时造成植物根腐烂，导致植株易
倒伏，作物产量下降甚至死亡；成虫主要以玉米叶，
花，花粉，穗丝及玉米果实为食，对玉米植株及果
实造成严重破坏。据统计，美国有五千万英亩的玉
米正遭受着玉米根虫的破坏，每年用于防治玉米根
虫所使用的农药及该害虫导致的作物减产的直接
经济损失累计达

亿美元，因此玉米根虫还被称
为“
Billion-dollar bug
”
(Monsanto Company, 2013)
。
对农作物造成伤害的玉米根虫主要有三种，分
别是西方玉米根虫
(western corn rootworm, WCR,
Diabrotia virgifera virgifera
Leconte)
，中文名玉米根
萤叶甲，是目前认为对玉米危害最大的一种根虫；
北方 玉 米 根虫
(Northern corn rootworm, NCR,
Diabrotia barberi
Smith&Lawrence)
，中文名巴氏根
萤叶甲；南方玉米根虫
(Southern corn rootworm,
SCR,
Diabrotia undecimpunctata howardi
Barker)
