Saltation
“It sure is taking long. When is it going--”
“Oh look!” Ace pointed at the direction f the sky and
Capricorn looked up.
The colour of the moon had slowly turned into a light
blue colour. The light shinnied on to the balcony, touching
Capricorn and Ace’s skin softly. Then the moon became a
deep neon blue colour. The brightness of the moon was
dazzling. Capricorn raised up is hand and tried to block the
light from his eyes a little, but it was still too bright. He
turned to the direction where Ac was sitting, and said, “It’s
too bright. Want to go inside?”
Ace did not reply. Instead, he sat on the rocking chair
and stared at the place directly in front of him.
“Ace!” Capricorn called out Ace’s name again, and
there was still no reply.
“You know what? I am going to go inside by myself.”
Capricorn pulled opened the door and slapped lightly onto
the back of Ace’s head. In an instant, Ace grabbed Capri-
corn’s wrist.
