4 Conclusion
The study indicated that application of N fertilizer enhances the growth and yield characteristics of green pepper
in both cropping season. However, the use of OGM appears to favour the production of biomass and yield, hence
enhanced productivity. The use of OGM can replace the use of chemical fertilizer. It is evident from the result that
proper monitoring of the planting date, rainfall onset of rainfed or availability of supplementary or full irrigation
and adequate application of fertilizer will produced the maximum yield and availability throughout the year.
