Bt Research 2025, Vol.16, No.4, 147-156 http://microbescipublisher.com/index.php/bt 154 urban residents tend to believe in scientific authority and will accept new measures introduced by the government faster if experts endorse it. On the other hand, rural residents have relatively low educational level and limited scientific literacy, but they often have simple trust in the government and pay more attention to personal experience. In addition, the rural population has a relatively large age structure, and the elderly have a slow understanding of new things, and it takes longer to accept and repeatedly explain it. This should also be considered during evaluation. Based on various studies, it can be expected that urban residents may have higher acceptance in the early stages of Bt measures than in rural areas, but with in-depth publicity and actual results, rural residents' acceptance is expected to come from behind and even surpass cities (Dambach et al., 2020). Therefore, when evaluating the acceptance of different groups, a stratified analysis method should be used. Figure 2 Lllustrates the conceptual framework of the research model that contains threemajor constructs in influencing public acceptance towards Bti application (Adopted from Rusly, 2024) Image caption: The first constructis called general factors, and it consists of three components (information seeking behaviour, trust in key players and impact of technology). The second construct are also consisting ofthree components of specific factors (the perceived benefit, the perceived risk, and theperceived moral concern). While the final and the main construct of this study refers toacceptance towards Bti application in combating dengue (Adopted from Rusly, 2024) 8 Countermeasures and Policy Suggestions 8.1 Establish a scientific and transparent risk communication system To increase the public's acceptance of Bt public health measures, the first thing is to establish a scientific and transparent risk communication system. Secondly, establish a multi-level communication mechanism. At the decision-making level, establish a communication working group composed of government officials, technical experts, and community representatives to unify the release of information and respond to public concerns. At the implementation level, give full play to the role of grassroots organizations in the community, such as community neighborhood committees and village committees arrange special personnel as liaison officers for Bt project to collect feedback from residents and promptly resolve doubts. Furthermore, use multiple communication channels. Finally, ensure the sustainability and transparency of communication. Communication is not a one-time behavior, and should be carried out throughout the Bt project. From project preparation, pilot implementation, comprehensive promotion, and effect evaluation, every stage must be promptly informed of progress and results. Whether it is positive results or problems that arise, they must be honest and open to maintain the credibility of the government and the project (Braks et al., 2019). Through the above measures, a communication channel of stable trust between the government and the public has been gradually established, so that the public can view and accept Bt public health measures rationally on the basis of obtaining sufficient information. 8.2 Promote interdisciplinary cooperation to enhance public trust The promotion of Bt public health measures involves problems in multiple fields such as science, society, communication, and ethics. Solving these complex problems requires a comprehensive governance idea of interdisciplinary cooperation. Integrate the power of natural science and social science. Introduce social science experts, such as scholars in the fields of public relations, psychology, and sociology, to work with biocontrol technology experts. Multi-department coordinated. Promoting Bt measures is not only a matter for the disease control department, but requires the coordination of multiple departments such as health, environmental protection, education, and media management. It is recommended to establish a joint meeting system, regularly communicate the problems
