International Journal of Clinical Case Reports, 2025, Vol.15, No.6, 283-292 http://medscipublisher.com/index.php/ijccr 289 In response to these issues, improvements can be made in the future from aspects such as strengthening policy guarantees, enhancing the treatment of nursing staff, and improving temporary rest services. Meanwhile, digital health technologies can also be better integrated with existing care services (Zhang and Yang, 2024; Guo et al., 2025). In terms of policy, efforts should be made to promote the establishment of a support network for nursing staff, carry out systematic skills training and psychological assistance services, and enable society to better understand and recognize the efforts of nursing staff (Yu et al., 2025). 7 Concluding Remarks A variety of social and psychological intervention methods, especially multi-component interventions such as mindfulness intervention (MBI) and cognitive behavioral intervention (CBT), are the most effective ways to reduce the stress of caregivers and improve the mental health of family caregivers of disabled elderly people. The intensity of social support and the ability of caregivers themselves are important intermediate factors that directly affect the quality of care and the psychological state of caregivers. In addition, simulated psychological education programs and nurse-led family interventions can further enhance the coping abilities and quality of life of caregivers. However, the effectiveness of these intervention methods varies greatly and is influenced by multiple factors, such as the degree of disability of the elderly being cared for, the educational level of the caregivers, and the resources available to society and the community. To improve the caregiver support system, policymakers and relevant staff should prioritize integrating psychological resources, conduct regular psychological assessments for caregivers, and provide convenient counseling services in communities and primary medical care points. Economic subsidies, skills training courses and temporary care services are particularly important for alleviating the economic pressure and psychological burden on caregivers. It is suggested that temporary care centers be established in the community to integrate medical and welfare policies. For instance, a collaborative care model among families, communities and institutions can be created to provide comprehensive and long-term assistance to caregivers. Future research should focus on the long-term effects and lasting roles of caregiver support methods, especially paying attention to the differences and changes in caregiver needs in different care scenarios. To identify the most effective core content from various intervention and digital assistance methods and fill the gaps in caregivers' physical health and life safety, high-quality and extensive research is still needed. Involving caregivers in the design and evaluation of intervention methods, this collaborative research approach is of great significance for building a practical support system centered on caregivers.
