Maintain regular contact with patients, including home visits and making doctors and nurses more competent to ensure that patients take their medicine on time and monitor the changes in their conditions (Figure 1) (Akkerman et al., 2020; Myburgh et al., 2023). In addition, it is necessary to frequently check and improve to see where the care is not done well and find solutions to ensure that the care provided is useful and can be carried out continuously. Figure 1 Summary of the core interventions at the end of anti-tuberculosis treatment and during pulmonary rehabilitation (Adopted from Akkerman et al., 2020) 3 The Influence of Comprehensive Nursing Strategies on the Prognosis of Patients with Pulmonary Tuberculosis 3.1 The role of multidisciplinary support in improving patients' treatment compliance and rehabilitation The support provided by personnel from different specialties together is crucial for helping tuberculosis patients take their medicine on time and recover their health. Research has found that teams composed of pharmacists, psychologists and social workers participating in care can improve the condition of patients. For instance, after pharmacists join the tuberculosis care team, they can better supervise patients' medication, which is very important for curing the disease (Boutilier et al., 2022). Moreover, this multi-disciplinary team holds regular meetings for discussions. Facts have proved that this can improve the methods of examination and care for patients, thereby formulating more accurate and comprehensive treatment plans. Adding psychological assistance to the team can make patients more willing to adhere to the treatment and reduce the situation of giving up treatment halfway (Quadir et al., 2022). 3.2 The impact of personalized care on the quality of life of tuberculosis patients Formulating treatment plans based on the individual conditions of patients, that is, tailoring treatment plans for each tuberculosis patient, has been proven to significantly improve their quality of life. Especially the comprehensive nursing program that includes psychological support and financial assistance has a better effect. For instance, a study in Pakistan demonstrated that comprehensive care providing psychological support and food assistance could increase the cure rate of patients with drug-resistant tuberculosis to 88% (Ruiz-Ramos et al., 2021). In addition, personalized care that combines psychological counseling with life assistance can help patients develop better medication habits, making treatment smoother and ultimately improving the overall living conditions of tuberculosis patients.
