By paying special attention to high-risk groups and taking preventive measures early, such as screening for obvious tuberculosis infections and intervening early, the comprehensive care approach can reduce the possibility of disease spread and recurrence. Furthermore, these practices can arrange treatment plans more effectively and ensure more adequate monitoring and evaluation of tuberculosis prevention and control efforts. The joint treatment of tuberculosis with other health problems such as diabetes and hypertension further demonstrates that adopting a comprehensive strategy may help improve the overall health of patients and alleviate the burden on medical institutions. This study will evaluate the practical effect of the comprehensive nursing method in managing tuberculosis patients, analyze the deficiencies of the traditional treatment mode, and the possible benefits of the comprehensive nursing method. Recent research findings are conducive to the formation of public health policies and clinical practices, and contribute to eliminating the harm of tuberculosis to global public health. This study will examine the current challenges and emerging countermeasures, with the aim of enhancing public understanding of tuberculosis management and formulating more effective and sustainable tuberculosis care strategies. 2 Review of Comprehensive Nursing Strategies for Tuberculosis Patients 2.1 The definition of comprehensive nursing strategies in tuberculosis management and their core components The comprehensive care approach for tuberculosis patients is to provide them with all-round care, not just focusing on taking medicine. These nursing plans integrate medical treatment, psychological counseling, nutritional supplementation, and assistance in solving daily life problems, etc., to meet the various needs of patients. The main contents of comprehensive care for tuberculosis include supervising patients to take medicine on time, making it more convenient for them to see a doctor, maintaining contact through communication tools, and providing assistance in daily life. The purpose of doing this is to make patients adhere to taking the medicine as required and reduce the possibility that they will not come back halfway through the treatment. By creating a favorable environment to meet various needs of patients in terms of medical treatment and life, the overall health condition of patients can be improved (Quadir et al., 2022). 2.2 The multidisciplinary composition of comprehensive nursing Comprehensive care for tuberculosis patients requires the joint efforts of people from different specialties, including various doctors, nurses and helpers (Mason, 2024). There are doctors, nurses and others responsible for treating diseases and observing the effects inside. Because tuberculosis patients often feel bad in their hearts, psychological help is very important. So, psychiatrists are important members of the team. Nutritional support is the responsibility of nutritionists. They improved nutrition and immunity for patients by setting meal plans for them, addressing the common problem of nutritional deficiency among patients (Akkerman et al., 2020). Assistance in daily life should not be lacking either, including social workers helping patients handle money and living matters to ensure they receive the necessary things and support. This approach of working together by all can take into account all aspects of the patients' illnesses, thereby improving their physical conditions and how they are living (Widyaningsih et al., 2022). 2.3 The role and implementation steps of comprehensive nursing in the management of tuberculosis patients The role of comprehensive nursing in tuberculosis patients is multi-faceted, mainly to provide comprehensive support, improve the efficacy of medication and the chance of curing the disease. The core tasks to be done include: conducting point-based medication (DOT) to ensure that patients take their medicine on time; Disperse the medical treatment points to make it more convenient to see a doctor. Use communication tools to enable people from different specialties to communicate and work together, making nursing more appropriate (Subbaraman et al., 2020). Financial assistance, food support and other living security measures are also crucial for making medication more effective and improving the patient's condition. Comprehensive care is carried out in several steps. Patients are classified to see which ones urgently need a comprehensive examination and may require hospitalization, especially those with severe malnutrition or other
