Data after implementation shows that the 90-day standardized follow-up visit rate has increased from 35% to 78%, and the completeness of the implementation of the family rehabilitation program has improved by 62%. 7.3 Continuous optimization path for nursing quality Constructing a hierarchical training system can effectively improve service quality: Newly recruited nurses complete 120 hours of stroke specialty training; Senior nursing staff participate in international certification courses every year. The application of the intelligent education platform has increased the pass rate of theoretical assessment from 72% to 94%, and the accuracy rate of clinical decision-making has increased by 41% (Ali et al., 2019). The augmented reality (AR) system for patient education was developed simultaneously, increasing the mastery of health knowledge by 2.3 times (Wang, 2024). Implement the “full-chain” nursing management model, from emergency assessment to community follow-up, 11 key quality control nodes are formed. Clinical verification shows that this model reduces the incidence of nursing deficiencies by 58% and the patient satisfaction score reaches 92 points (Zhang et al., 2018). The deployment of the intelligent follow-up system has achieved automatic early warning (the response time for abnormal blood pressure reminders is less than 15 mins), and the compliance of secondary prevention medication has increased to 88%. 8 Concluding Remarks Systematic nursing intervention plays a decisive role in the full-cycle management of stroke. Studies have confirmed that integrating multi-dimensional intervention programs such as early functional exercise, defecation and urination management, position optimization and swallowing training can reduce the incidence of pulmonary infection by 39% and the risk of deep vein thrombosis by 52%. These measures significantly shortened the functional recovery cycle by improving the microcirculation state (with a 28% increase in blood rheology indicators) and neural plasticity (with a 42% increase in BDNF levels). Data show that implementing the specialized stroke care pathway can reduce the average length of hospital stay by 6.3 days and increase the Barthel index at discharge by 35 percentage points. There is still significant room for improvement in current clinical practice: There are regional differences in the compliance of evidence-based nursing, and the implementation rate within the time window of intravenous thrombolysis is only 68%. The homogeneity degree of rehabilitation nursing programs is insufficient. Only 43% of institutions implement standardized swallowing screening procedures. In the subsequent research, it is necessary to construct an intelligent decision support system to improve the accuracy of nursing plans, develop a virtual reality training module to strengthen the core capabilities of nursing staff, and establish a cross-border multi-center database to optimize the secondary prevention strategy. The discipline of stroke nursing has achieved a qualitative leap after twenty years of development, and the role of nursing has transformed from an executor to a full-process manager. By constructing the “assessment-intervention-evaluation” trinity model, the compliance rate of nursing sensitive indicators has been continuously rising. In the future, it is necessary to focus on improving the certification system for stroke specialist nurses and promoting the clinical conversion rate of nursing research achievements. With the deep integration of mobile medical technology and artificial intelligence, stroke care will enter a new era of personalization and data-driven, ultimately achieving the global strategic goal of reducing the disability rate.
