Ensuring the security of patient data involves implementing robust encryption methods and secure data storage solutions (Tedesco et al., 2022). Platforms should comply with international standards such as GDPR and HIPAA to protect patient information. Additionally, the use of AI can enhance patient safety by providing real-time monitoring and alerts for any anomalies in patient data, thereby enabling timely interventions (LeBaron, 2022). Regular audits and updates to the platform can further ensure that data privacy and patient safety measures are up-to-date and effective. 7 Policy and Practice Recommendations 7.1 Policy support for the implementation of remote rehabilitation nursing via intelligent platforms To effectively implement remote rehabilitation nursing through intelligent platforms, it is essential to establish robust policy support. Governments and healthcare institutions should prioritize the integration of information and communication technologies (ICT) in healthcare policies. This includes funding for the development and maintenance of digital platforms that facilitate remote rehabilitation, as well as ensuring that these platforms are accessible to all patients, regardless of their socioeconomic status. Policies should also address the need for training healthcare professionals in the use of these technologies to bridge the eHealth literacy gap, which is a significant barrier to the effective use of ICT in rehabilitation (Gåsvær et al., 2023). 7.2 Incentive measures to increase healthcare professionals' engagement To increase healthcare professionals' engagement in remote rehabilitation nursing, it is crucial to implement incentive measures. These could include financial incentives, professional development opportunities, and recognition programs (McDonall et al., 2022). Financial incentives could be in the form of bonuses or grants for healthcare providers who successfully implement and utilize remote rehabilitation technologies. Professional development opportunities, such as training programs and workshops, can help healthcare professionals stay updated with the latest advancements in remote rehabilitation. Recognition programs can acknowledge and reward healthcare providers who demonstrate excellence in using remote rehabilitation technologies, thereby motivating others to follow suit (Palagin et al., 2022). 7.3 Integrating innovative technologies to enhance postoperative rehabilitation nursing The integration of innovative technologies, such as wearable devices, tele-nursing platforms, and data analytics, can significantly enhance postoperative rehabilitation nursing. Wearable devices can monitor patients' vital signs and physical activity in real-time, providing valuable data for personalized rehabilitation plans. Tele-nursing platforms enable continuous communication between patients and healthcare providers, ensuring timely interventions and support. Data analytics can help in the early identification of potential complications and the optimization of rehabilitation protocols based on patient-specific data. These technologies not only improve patient outcomes but also increase the efficiency of healthcare delivery (Wu et al., 2020).
