This type of plant has its own characteristics, such as having special leaves and flowers, and also bearing round and plump fruits. These fruits contain saponins that can act as natural cleaners (Gao et al., 2023). There are several members in this family. They look quite different and can adapt well in different environments (Liu et al., 2021c; Gao et al., 2023). Take the seedless tree for example. It is very common in the south of our country. Because there are many saponins in its fruit, it is particularly valuable (Figure 1) (Sun et al., 2018; Zhao et al., 2019).
