It Just Did
thing. She sat on her couch and waited for the time to pass.
At about four, she grabbed the package of documents,
shoved it into her bag, threw on her running shoes, and left
her apartment building.
She droved to the address Helen had gave her and
parked her car on the side of the road. Then she walked
into the apartment building and took the elevator to the
fourteenth floor. When the elevator door opened, she ran
into somebody. She glanced up, “Sorry.” But she only saw
the person’s chin.

thought. Then she raised her head to look up, and for a sec-
ond, she jerked back.
It was her boss. The CEO of the XXX Company, the man
who is always in suits, but now he is in casual clothing.

“Oh I am so sorry Libra. Are you okay? Are you hurt or
anything?”
“Yeah I’m fine.” Libra said. She reached her hand into
her bag and took out the package of documents.
“Why are you here? I thought you live in the west side
of the city. Here to see a friend?”
