weight with the mean reduction of 25 per cent
respectively over control. The susceptible cultivars
were highly vulnerable to water deficit showing bunch
weight reduction of 68 to 75 per cent over control.
Similar to this study, Turner and Rosales (2005)
noticed a reduction in bunch yield due to water deficit.
