Conduct research to develop, implement, and evaluate adaptation strategies in different ecosystem and social-ecological contexts. Promote interdisciplinary research that integrates ecological, social, economic, and behavioral sciences to improve decision-making and management practices. By adopting these recommendations, policymakers and researchers can work together to enhance the resilience of aquatic ecosystems and the communities that depend on them in the face of climate change.
